Odds are you don't remember Florida's 28-20 win over East Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl. In fact, my simple assumption that you even watched the game could be termed as extremely optimistic on my part.

If you did watch it, though, you may remember Florida running back Adam Lane rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown, but it was not Lane's performance in the game that drew attention to him. It was something else he did during the game.

Adam Lane, to put it gently, had a bit of an accident.

But don't worry! While this kind of incident on national television might ruin some people for eternity, Lane has had quite the opposite reaction.

"It was the best thing that could have happened," said Lane, via Jacksonville.com's Richard Johnson. "It got a lot of attention and just put me in a place where I was out there publicly and people knew who I was. I really didn't get a lot of grief from it. A lot of people were really more focused on how well I did in the game more than anything. I feel like it was that way because I embraced it."

Yes, that's right, Lane said pooping his pants during a football game was the "best thing that could have happened." Personally I think having the same kind of performance without pooping your pants would have been a better option, but I can't help but appreciate his attitude about the whole situation.
