The East Carolina football commit and Shelby High school wide receiver capped his high school career with a fourth consecutive state championship as Shelby defeated Northside-Jacksonville 28-6 in the 2AA North Carolina state title on Saturday inside Carter-Finley Stadium.

Borders had five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown in the victory.

Borders topped 1,600 yards receiving and scored more than 20 touchdowns each of the past two seasons. He's expected to enroll in January at East Carolina.
