The number of undefeated teams was trimmed this weekend, helping to shape this week's BCS projections.
The Irish were impressive in a 30-13 win at Oklahoma Saturday night and are hoping to sway some voters away from the Ducks and Kansas State (24-19 winners in Norman earlier this season). Both Oregon and Kansas State took care of business as well, blowing out Colorado and Texas Tech respectively.
Sagarin is already out this morning, and has Kansas State No. 1, which is not terribly surprising. What is surprising is that Alabama fell from No. 3 to No. 7 after knocking off previously unbeaten Mississippi State. You wouldn't think that would hurt the Tide's strength of schedule much.
LSU, which didn't play, was among the teams that jumped them, as were both Notre Dame and Oklahoma, which now has two losses. Good thing his formula is secret so we can't see why something like that happens.
The bottom half of the top 10 will be filled with one-loss SEC teams, and maybe even one with two losses.
