In-state athlete Zayd Issah commits to Penn State
Penn State added another player to its 2013 recruiting class on Friday after Harrisburg (Pa. athlete Zayd Issahcommitted.
"They're excited and I'm excited too," Issah told Lions247. I can't wait to get started and play for the staff up there. Now it gives me time to focus on this senior season and focus on next year."
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect also held offers from Iowa, Rutgers and Virginia, among others. After getting to know the Penn State program a little better during the recruiting process, Issah simply felt that was the place for him.
"Just the way that the program is headed, the direction," he said. "Also, the coaching staff. I'm real excited to get up there and learn from them and be the best player that I can possibly be."
A standout running back and linebacker, Issah will likely wind up on the defensive side of the ball after making 123 tackles and 14 sacks last season as a junior.
