Jim Tressel has returned to Ohio State since stepping down in May 2011, but not in a matter as official as his addition to the lineup of speakers for the 85th annual OSU Football Clinic.

The three-day event scheduled for mid-April will be attended by high school coaches from the area. Urban Meyer, Hall of Fame wide receiver and current ESPN analyst Cris Carter and Tressel have all been listed as featured speakers for the event, along with Denver Broncos defensive assistant Fred Pagac, strength coach Mickey Marotti and others.

Tressel was inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame last September and was at the College Football Playoff National Championship to watch the Buckeyes beat Oregon, though he was also scheduled to be in attendance as a member of that year's College Football Hall of Fame induction class.

Now serving as the president at Youngstown State, Tressel will be back in as much of a football capacity as you're likely to see him around Columbus.
