Kliff Kingsbury might play in Texas Tech's spring game
Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury is reportedly considering suiting up and playing a bit in Texas Tech's spring game.
Texas Tech is scheduled to hold its spring game on April 12, and odds are that doesn't mean a whole lot to you unless you're a Texas Tech fan. Odds are you aren't planning on watching it, but there could be something unique about this year's game.
Apparently Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury is considering suiting up and playing a series in the game.

Now, let's think about this for a moment. Could Kingsbury play in the spring game if he really wanted to? Of course he could, he's only 34, and spring games are just glorified practices anyway. It's just that I get the feeling that when Kingsbury says he's considering it, he's goofing around.
I mean, he wouldn't risk messing up the hair, would he?
