LeBron James has a locker at Ohio State in the basketball and football facilities, and it doesn't even seem weird. He has never played a game on the hardwood or a down on the football field, but there is no college team that is more associated with basketball's biggest star than the Buckeyes.

Of course, King James' support of the program extends beyond his fandom. When the recently-crowned NBA champion drops off a fresh batch of his signature shoes for the entire football team, the least you can do is offer him a spot to store his gear.

It should be noted that Ohio State and LeBron James are two of Nike's most iconic partners right now, and the Buckeyes have been able to wear his gear as part of their arrangement. In January, OSU and the mighty swoosh agreed to a 15-year extension on their apparel deal worth a reported $252 million.

In June, the Ohio State delegation of Urban Meyer, Thad Matta and athletic director Gene Smith was on hand to celebrate the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA championship. Maybe these shoes are the Nike version of a thank you note for attending the party.
