LOOK: NC State to bring back the diamond logo in throwback uniforms vs. Notre Dame
NC State is taking it old school to celebrate 50 years at its stadium
The 2016 season will be the 50th season that NC State has been playing at Carter-Finley Stadium, and to celebrate the occasion, there's only one logical thing to do.
Wear throwback uniforms.
"It's a special year as we honor Carter-Finley's 50th anniversary," said NC State coach Dave Doeren in a release. "To recognize our proud tradition, we have brought back the diamond logo and uniform."
The biggest change will be the diamond logo on the helmet. Check out the look.
The Wolfpack will don the uniforms and helmet for their Oct. 8 showdown against Notre Dame.
