LOOK: Renovations almost complete at Duke's Wallace Wade Stadium
With two weeks left until football season, the renovations to Duke's Wallace Wade Stadium are almost completed.
After the final game of the 2014 season, Duke began the process of renovating Wallace Wade Stadium, including the addition of brand new Brooks Field.
On Thursday, Duke provided some pictures of the progress of the renovations, which are almost complete, and a look at how the new sod looks. (Images courtesy of @Duke_GAMEDAY on Twitter)
The field and new seats look great and they've made a considerable amount of progress since the field looked like this back in May.
Duke will play its first game on the new field at 6 p.m. ET on Sept. 12 against fellow Durham institution North Carolina Central, an FCS program that plays in the MEAC.
