LOOK: UNLV's new uniform puts Las Vegas front and center
UNLV unveiled its new football uniforms for the first season of the Tony Sanchez era.
UNLV's Tony Sanchez is one of the most intriguing new coaches in FBS football heading into 2015. On Wednesday, he helped unveil a new look for the Rebels with new helmets and uniforms that put Las Vegas right in the spotlight.
"Las Vegas is so important to our University and our football program wants to be a big part of the Las Vegas community," Sanchez said via a school release. "We are fortunate to live in one of the world's great destinations and these uniform designs are one of the ways we will proudly represent our city."
There's the iconic Stardust sign, a "Welcome to Las Vegas" decal on the back of the helmet and plenty more Vegas-themed flare in the new uniforms, seen below.
