Louisville loses Michaelee Harris for the season
The wide receiver tore his ACL during practice Thursday.
Louisville wide receiver Michaelee Harris' knees have failed him yet again. Coach Charlie Strong announced on Friday that the receiver would miss the entire 2012 season after tearing the ACL in he left knee during practice on Thursday.
“He provides so much energy to the team, and you want everything to work out for him,” Strong said. “And to watch any player go down it’s just not a good feeling as a coach. They put so much work into it.”
This is Harris' fourth knee injury since he joined Louisville. He was just returning from a torn ACL in his right knee that he suffered in December before Louisville's appearance in the Belk Bowl.
