LSU commit Sterns receives Army Bowl invitation
Cibolo Steele safety Caden Sterns received an Army Bowl invitation on Friday
Caden Sterns has earned one of the biggest accolades a recruit can garner during his high school career.
The four-star safety out of Cibolo Steele received an invitation to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Friday.
"It's a blessing," Sterns said. "A lot of great players have played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. To have my name added to that list is a good feeling. I'm blessed to be invited."
Sterns committed to LSU in November over offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, UCLA and others.
As a junior at Cibolo Steele, Sterns racked up 82 tackles and four interceptions en route to leading his team to a state title appearance.
At 6-foot-1, 192 pounds, Sterns is ranked as the No. 4 safety in the country and No. 6 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
