Alabama's 2017 recruiting class has basically locked in a No. 1 overall finish for the seventh straight year, per 247Sports Composite rankings. And the dynasty that is Alabama #crootin shows no signs of slowing down.

Case in point: On Wednesday, the Crimson Tide received the signature of five-star defensive end LaBryan Ray.

Ray is the No. 1 defensive end and top overall prospect in the state of Alabama, and he was down to the Crimson Tide, Tennessee and Florida. At 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, Ray is not lacking the size to come in and compete right away for playing time.

The Crimson Tide's star-studded class is heavy on edge rushers and outside linebackers. The addition of Ray may have left little room for four-star defensive end Jarez Parks, who will reportedly grayshirt with the team.
