New York Jets sign LB Jeff Luc to futures deal
The linebacker/fullback was added by the Jets today
On Wednesday, the Jets announced they signed linebacker Jeff Luc to a futures/reserve contract.
Undrafted last season from Cincinnati, Luc originally joined the Miami Dolphins organization before being signed by the Bengals, who featured him at fullback for a time.
The Jets are interested in gathering linebacker prospects as they deal with potential openings on the inside, where veteran David Harris is currently slotted, and the weak side edge, where Lorenzo Mauldin has been dealing with injuries.
Luc as 200 career tackles as a collegian, with Cincinnati and briefly Florida State.
