Ohio State's Jordan Hall may miss rest of season, redshirt
Urban Meyer says the running back isn't even practicing and might end up redshirting the 2012 season.
Ohio State running back Jordan Hall hasn't played since the Buckeyes 17-16 win over Michigan State on Sept. 29. According to Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer, it's possible that Hall won't play again until 2013.
"He re-dinged [his knee], so I don’t know," Meyer said. "He’s not even practicing. I think [redshirting] is [an option], I think it is now. I had to find out even if it’s a possibility, and it is."
Hall is a senior, but it's possible he'll want to return to Columbus for another season if he has hopes of improving his NFL draft stock.
Hall suffered a partially torn ligament in his knee during the Michigan State game, carrying the ball six times for 26 yards and a score before having to leave. This season, Hall has only carried the ball 40 times for 218 yards in three games.
He missed the first two games of the season after an accident during the summer when he stepped on a piece of glass with his bare foot. Hall cut a tendon, which required surgery.
