Matt Sandusky, the adopted son of Jerry Sandusky, has filmed an interview with Oprah Winfrey that will air later this month in which he discusses his sexual abuse.
The Oprah Winfrey Network has announced that it has filmed an interview between Winfrey and Matt Sandusky, the adult adopted son of Jerry Sandusky, that will air later this month.
According to the Associated Press, Matt Sandusky will describe a pattern of sexual abuse by his adopted father that included "grooming, methodical control and manipulation" by the convicted former Penn State defensive coordinator.
The interview will air July 17.
Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to 30-to-60 years in prison after being convicted of 45 counts of sexual abuse in 2012. Matt Sandusky's allegations against his adopted father were not part of the criminal case against him, but did lead to a settlement between Matt Sandusky and Penn State following a civil suit.
Matt is one of six children adopted by Jerry and Dottie Sandusky.
