Orange Bowl donating $1 to Sandy Hook fund for each fan at game
The Orange Bowl is making a donation to the Sandy Hook Memorial Scholarship Bowl on the occasion of the BCS title game.

The Orange Bowl has waited four long years in the BCS rotation to host the BCS Championship Game, and they're marking the occastion with a welcome charitable donation.
Per USA Today's Rachel George and other outlets, the Orange Bowl will donate $1 to the Sandy Hook Memorial Scholarship Fund for every fan in attendance at the BCS Championship Game -- a gesture that thanks to a sellout at Sun Life Stadium will net the fund $80,120.
The fund was started by the University of Connecticut and was recently pledged $1 million by the Connecticut Education Association.
