PHOTO: Bill Snyder sent a letter to Jace Amaro
Just more evidence of why Kansas State's Bill Snyder really is one of the best people you'll find in college football.
During Saturday's loss to Baylor, Texas Tech tight end -- and Biletnikoff Award semifinalist -- Jace Amaro took a big hit that left him shaken up and needing to be helped off the field. On Monday Amaro received a letter from Kansas State coach Bill Snyder just to make sure he was all right.
THE upmost respect to Kansas State and Coach Snyder, great program and an even greater coach. Huge fan. pic.twitter.com/fjeflBLU47— Jace Amaro (@J_ACER22) November 18, 2013
If you can't read Bill Snyder's handwriting the note reads:
"You've had a great year Jace. Admire how hard you play and the innate toughness you display to help your team. Hope you weren't hurt badly on Saturday. Wishing you and your teammates continued success, good fortune and health. Warm regards, Bill Snyder."
Just another example of the kind of person that Bill Snyder is, as he's not only sending a letter to a player on a different team, but to a player that got hurt in a game Snyder wasn't even coaching in.
It sounds corny, I know, but the college football world really could use a lot more Bill Snyders.
