Here's what a $10,000 "cash drop" looks like, courtesy of Georgia State.
FCS Georgia State unveiled an unusual attendance promotion this week, promising a "$10,000 Cash Drop" to be held at its home game against New Hampshire.
Apparently, the school dropped "vouchers" rather than actual cold, hard cash, which is something of a disappointment. But one trip to a local bank can turn them into cash, and via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it still makes for heck of a visual:
Some 400 GSU students had the privilege of being on the Georgia Dome turf to go after the vouchers -- coincidentally, a number that apparently matches the number of GSU fans in the stands.
