PHOTO: Kliff Kingsbury thanks students in ad in school newspaper
Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury took out an ad in the school newspaper to thank students for setting school attendance records.
The first five games of Kliff Kingsbury's tenure at Texas Tech have been pretty successful. Not only are the Red Raiders 5-0 on the season, but they're beating teams by an average score of 42-11.
Texas Tech has also been setting some attendance records, as the student section is filling up at a school record rate. And it seems Kingsbury wanted to make sure the students knew he appreciated their support, as he took out an ad in the school paper, The Daily Toreador, to let them know.
Which is a pretty nice gesture if you ask me.
Hopefully the nice gestures will continue should Kingsbury's team start losing some games.
