PODCAST: Eye On College Football Preseason Awards

Arkansas coach John L. Smith is a First Annual Eye On College Football Preseason Award recipient. (US Presswire)

In preparation for the 2012 CBSSports.com College Football Preview (PLUG: which will be featured prominently on the site over the next week), the Eye On College Football put in hours of research and debate to determine preseason All-American and all-conference teams.

Unfortunately, not all of the preseason honors made the cut. So Tom Fornelli and I complied our wish-list of preseason awards to deliver the First Annual Eye On College Football Preseason Awards Podcast. The podcast opens with a brief discussion on the USA Today Preseason Coaches Poll, released today, and closes with the most anticipated games of college football's opening weekend.

In between, you can find a highly intelligent breakdown of the following preseason awards.

Most Likely To Fight A Bear - and win (7:40)
