Well, everything seems just hunky dory at Texas right now.

According to a report from the Austin-American Statesman, Texas players are threatening to boycott the team's game against TCU in the wake of reports that Charlie Strong will be fired as coach.

"Some of the team is threatening to boycott the TCU game," a source told the paper. "Older players are trying to settle things down."

When asked about a potential boycott during his press conference on Monday, Strong said it won't happen.

"That won't happen," said Strong. "They won't boycott this game. This game is about the seniors. They know how important it is."

All of this comes in the aftermath of what was a hectic 48 hours for Texas this weekend.

After the Longhorns lost to Kansas for the first time since 1938 on Saturday, Strong's fate in Austin seemed sealed. It wasn't a question of if he'd be fired, but when.

On Sunday, reports started to emerge from multiple outlets that Texas decided Strong will be fired but that the school wanted him to stay through the regular season finale against TCU.

Those reports were then followed by Texas athletic director Mike Perrin releasing a statement saying Strong wouldn't be evaluated until after the TCU game, which is what he said earlier this year.
