TCU wide receiver Brandon Carter has been charged with marijuana possession following a traffic stop.
Carter was pulled over by Fort Worth Police on Tuesday and they allegedly found less than two ounces of marijuana in the car. TCU is yet to issue a comment on the situation, but Carter has not been practicing with the team this spring due to academic reasons.
Carter was also granted a leave of absence from the football team in November.
A rising senior, Carter finished the 2013 season with 31 catches for 370 yards, and he also rushed for a touchdown.
