Temple adds live owl to the Lincoln Financial Field experience

Temple will have a decided ornithological advantage over their opponents during home games at Lincoln Financial Field, thanks to the addition of Stella the Owl.
Stella, a 3-year-old great horned owl, was introduced to Owls coach Matt Rhule and a group of season ticket holders over the weekend at Temple's practice. According to the school, the plan is for Stella to be on the sidelines for home games this fall at Lincoln Financial Field. The owls permanent residence is Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pa.
If Stella could talk, she would likely complain about the lack of night games on Temple's schedule. I'm no Doolittle, but owls don't like Noon kickoffs either.
