Texas State team involved in bus accident, start of game delayed

Update: The accident involving Texas State's team buses on Interstate 10 did not result in any serious injuries. Five people -- including the bus driver and one player -- were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to team release.

Buses carrying the Texas State football team were involved in an accident on Interstate 10 in New Mexico as the team was en route to its game against New Mexico State.

Initial reports say the accident involved three buses, and that some Bobcats players were taken to the hospital. There has been no word on how many players were taken to the hospital, nor how serious any of their injuries may have been.

All we know for sure at this point is that the game has been delayed. New Mexico State athletic director Mario Moccia confirmed that kickoff will take place at 5:20 p.m. ET, a hour later than scheduled.
