USC has retired former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Caleb Willliams' No. 13, the school announced Thursday. In addition, the Trojans will have a banner inside LA Memorial Coliseum honoring running back Reggie Bush, whose 2005 Heisman Trophy was reinstated in April.
Williams is getting his own banner, as well. USC football's official social media account posted a video of USC coach Lincoln Riley, former Trojans teammates and recording artists such as John Legend and Snoop Dogg, among others, congratulating Williams.
"Caleb, congratulations bud," Riley said. "Getting your jersey retired as USC's eighth Heisman Trophy winner, which is the most in college football history."
Honored among our Trojan greats... number 13 has officially been retired.

Williams, who was selected No. 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft and will make his debut with the Chicago Bears Sunday afternoon, won the Heisman in 2022 after throwing for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns and rushing for another 10 scores.
In his two years at USC, Williams posted 7,870 yards and 72 touchdowns through the air with an 18-8 record as a starter. Williams and Riley first teamed up at Oklahoma, as Williams originally signed with the Sooners in 2021 before following Riley to Los Angeles.
Riley has produced three Heisman winners during his coaching tenure his head coach with Williams joining former Oklahoma signal callers Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.
As for Bush, he was stripped of his Heisman Trophy in 2010 after an NCAA investigation found that he had received impermissible benefits during his time with the Trojans. However, once the NCAA overhauled its name, image and likeness policy in 2021, a push began for the Heisman Trophy Trust to overturn the decision.
Bush was officially re-introduced as USC's seventh Heisman winner on April 24.
