VIDEO: Big 12 promo gives all 10 coaches the morphing treatment
If you've ever wanted to see Kliff Kingsbury transmuted into Charlie Weis through digital effects (dark) wizardry, now is your chance.
The music video for Michael Jackson's song Black or White, the lead single from his 1991 album Dangerous, premiered on November 14 of that year and will mark its 23rd anniversary this fall.
Why do we mention that? Oh, no reason.
Just kidding, we totally have a reason. It's this Big 12 promotional video, released today, July 21, 2014, to commemorate Big 12 media days and its new "One True Champion" (unless there are ties) slogan. Watch, and be amazed by the latest in digital technology!
As much fun as the morphing is -- particularly the Kliff Kingsbury-to-Charlie Weis bit -- our favorite part is having Paul Rhoads describe the Big 12's defenses as "aggressive."
Your defenses weren't really that bad, guys, what with Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU all ranking in the national top-15 in yards-per-play allowed. If you want to pick an adjective that actually means "good," rather than "a euphemism that sounds like like we're calling ourselves good without actually saying it," we've got your back.
