After two games on the road, the Colorado State Rams are heading back home. Their week off comes to an end as they meet up with the San Jose State Spartans at 3:30 p.m. ET at Canvas Stadium Saturday. SJSU will be strutting in after a win while the Rams will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Colorado State came up short against the Iowa Hawkeyes two weeks ago, falling 24-14. Despite the loss, Colorado State got a solid performance out of QB Todd Centeio, who passed for one TD and 155 yards on 30 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 31 yards.

Meanwhile, SJSU didn't have too much breathing room in their game with the New Mexico State Aggies last week, but they still walked away with a 37-31 victory. SJSU QB Nick Nash was slinging it as he passed for three TDs and 195 yards on 17 attempts. Nash's performance made up for a slower matchup against the Western Michigan Broncos two weeks ago.

Colorado State is the favorite in this one, with an expected 3.5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

The Rams are now 1-3 while the Spartans sit at 3-2. Two defensive stats to keep an eye on: Colorado State is 159th worst in the nation in passing yards allowed per game, with 239 on average. SJSU has experienced some passing struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the contest with the 189th most passing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up eight on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
