WATCH: Colorado State WR snags a Tyrone Prothro-style touchdown at Alabama

Colorado State wide receiver Warren Jackson turned in one of the catches of the year in the first half at Alabama Saturday night.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound freshman went up over Anthony Averett, drew pass interference and held on while hugging Averett's back for the Rams' only score of the first half.

The grab was eeriely similar to a former member of the Crimson Tide, Tyrone Prothro, who made a catch over a Southern Miss defender in 2005. The four-yard touchdown capped an 11-play, 85-yard touchdown drive that took 6:17 off the clock for coach Mike Bobo's crew.

Colorado State entered halftime down only 14 to the defending SEC champs.
