WATCH: New LSU offensive coordinator really likes the word 'bang'
Matt Canada said bang 26 times in a two-minute video
New LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada is a high-energy coach. He arrived in Baton Rouge after a prolific offensive season at Pittsburgh, and now he’s tasked with bringing a spark back to that side of the ball for the Tigers.
Canada has been with the staff and players for a couple months now, but spring practice is his first time to get back to the “coaching” part of the job. He’s fired up, as made evident by his energy in this Mic’d up video from LSU’s workouts.
If Canada keeps this up, he’ll be a content generation machine.
In the two-minute video (2:18 to be exact) consisting of clips from multiple practices, Canada says “bang” 26 times, normally in rapid fire succession as he’s watching a play develop -- “Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!” He also says “the ball” about 12 times and only lowers his tone and volume to welcome athletic director Joe Alleva to practice.
