WATCH: Ohio State standout signees remix 'Wanna be a Baller' music video
Buckeyes linebacker Baron Browning and running back J.K. Dobbins had a message for recruits
Two members of Ohio State’s outstanding 2017 recruiting class -- five-star linebacker Baron Browning and four-star running back J.K. Dobbins -- wanted recruits to know just how great a place Ohio State is to live out your dreams.
And by recruits, I mean national recruits.
Browning and Dobbins were two of some of the highest rated recruits out of Texas for the 2017 class. Both committed to the Buckeyes and enrolled early. To get a jump start on helping the 2018 class, Browning and Dobbins remixed Houston native Lil’ Troy’s “Wanna Be A Baller” with a not-so-subtle message about Ohio State.
Other Ohio State football players, including running back Mike Weber, make an appearance.
Of course, it’s not like Ohio State needs help recruiting Texas -- or anywhere else. The Buckeyes do have a strong history of plucking top athletes from the Lone Star State, however, with quarterback J.T. Barrett among them. But I suppose this video won’t hurt, either.
