WATCH: Robert Kraft at Trump Tower to visit Donald Trump
Patriots owner Robert Kraft was at Trump Tower on Wednesday to visit President-elect Donald Trump
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was at Trump Tower in New York City on Wednesday to reportedly visit with President-elect Donald Trump.
According to a pool report, Kraft was spotted walking into Trump Tower at around 1:52 p.m. EST and was heading to meeting with Trump.
This comes after his son and Patriots President Jonathan Kraft said on the radio on Sunday leading up to the team's primetime matchup against the Seahawks that, “The brand and the business of the New England Patriots didn’t endorse anyone or anything."
The question was prompted because the President-elect had been linked with both Tom Brady, who is said to have voted for the Republican candidate, and Bill Belichick, who penned him a letter of support which Trump read to a crowd in Manchester, New Hampshire on the eve of Election Day.
The context of the meeting wasn't disclosed, but Kraft did tell The Boston Globe earlier this year that the two were very close and Trump was one of the people who helped him during the time after his wife passed away in 2011.
