USF quarterback Quinton Flowers is one of the most dynamic players in the American Athletic Conference, providing the spark for a Bulls' offense that can light up the scoreboard with explosive plays. But the Bulls, like many more AAC teams, found it hard to put points up against Bob Diaco's UConn Huskies on Saturday night.
Sometimes touchdowns against Diaco's defense require divine intervention, and that's basically what seemed to happen on this incredible Flowers touchdown run in the first half. The dual-threat quarterback bounced around blockers like a pinball before finally finding the open space to hit the jets and surge forward for a score.
USA Today Sports Images captured a photo of Flowers right after the touchdown right before what was likely a huge sigh and gasp for breath following the exhausting run.
