What do we know about Florida State QB Sean Maguire?
We don't know much about the quarterback who will replace Jameis Winston this week, but here's what we do know.
Saturday night's matchup between Florida State and Clemson was already one of the biggest games this weekend, and that was before Jameis Winston decided to climb atop a table and act like an idiot. Now Winston will watch from the sideline during the first half as Sean Maguire takes over the offense he helped lead to a national title last season.

And that leads to a natural question we've all asked ourselves over the last 24 hours: who is Sean Maguire?
The truth is that we don't know a lot about Maguire, as Florida State hasn't had much need for him since he came to Tallahassee. Maguire arrived on campus at the same time as Jameis Winston, as both were members of Florida State's 2012 recruiting class. Winston was obviously the quarterback everyone paid attention to, as he was a five-star recruit. Maguire, on the other hand, was only a three-star recruit out of Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, New Jersey (where he rarely threw as the team ran the Wing-T according to the Florida State website).
Like Winston, Maguire redshirted the 2012 season and appeared in four games doing mop-up duty last season. He also saw some time against Citadel in FSU's last game, completing three of his five passes for 28 yards. In his career as a Seminole he's completed 16-of-26 passes for 144 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
And odds are that even though he'll be starting the game, the Seminoles won't ask him to do too much against the Tigers besides handing the ball off to Karlos Williams, Mario Pender and Dalvin Cook. Though it's possible that Jimbo Fisher will decide to do the opposite of what we're all expecting, and have Maguire take some shots early.
Hell, maybe the Noles will come out running the Wing-T.
All we really know about Sean Maguire right now is we don't know much, and we won't know learn more until he takes the reins on Saturday night.
