Wisconsin quarterbacks Jon Budmayr and Bart Houston will miss 2012 season
The Wisconsin Badgers will find themselves two quarterbacks short on the depth chart this fall.
Wisconsin announced that quarterbacks Jon Budmayr and Bart Houston will both miss the 2012 season as they deal with injuries.
Budmayr had been expected to be Wisconsin's starting quarterback in 2011 before former
Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema says that Budmayr's arm is doing better, but now the junior needs hip surgery that will cost him the 2012 season. Budmayr has already used a redshirt season, so you have to wonder if he'll ever have a chance to play quarterback for Wisconsin.
Bart Houston is a highly touted recruit from California who is currently rehabbing from shoulder surgery. He was not expected to be able to compete for the starting quarterback job this fall, so the news that he'll miss the 2012 season is not unexpected.
