LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) Aaron Young and Myles Stephens each scored 18 points and they combined to make 10 of Princeton's 17 3-pointers in a 67-64 victory over Liberty on Saturday.

Young made five first-half 3-pointers to tie his career high and added another after the break. It was a career-high scoring day for Stephens, a sophomore.

Princeton pushed its nine-point halftime lead to as much as 15 in the second half. But Liberty trimmed its deficit to 63-62 with less than two minutes to go after a 16-2 run. The Tigers were up 65-62 when Liberty's A.C. Reid missed a 3-pointer with 14 seconds left. Devin Cannady made two free throws on the other end for a five-point lead.

Spencer Weisz tied a program record for Princeton (4-4) with 13 assists. He topped his previous best of nine and tied T.J. Bray's mark, set in 2014 in an overtime win at Penn State. Princeton coach Mitch Henderson won his 100th game to become the sixth Princeton coach to reach the mark.

Ryan Kemrite led Liberty (4-6) with 16 points.
