BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Willie Conner hit a career-high eight 3-pointers and finished with 28 points, CJ Massinburg scored 15 and Buffalo cruised to an 87-52 win over Coppin State on Saturday.

The Bulls hit 15 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting from deep - both season highs.

Massinburg scored the first seven points and Conner added the final 10, including three 3-pointers, during a 17-4 run that made it 27-15 with seven minutes left in the half and Buffalo (5-5) led the rest of the way.

The Bulls took a 41-28 lead into the break, led by double figures throughout the second half and a layup by James Jones gave them a 37-point lead - their biggest of the game.

Dejuan Clayton and Tre' Thomas scored 13 points apiece for Coppin State (0-12).

The Eagles, who have lost 13 in a row dating to last season, shot 28 percent (16 of 58).
