Vertical Wingspan Draft Range
37.5 7-1.5 50-UFA
  • Like his father, Nance is just one of those freak athletes. Possessing great quickness and a 37.5-inch vertical leap at 6-9, Nance has a shot to be a very versatile defensive player that can do a lot of different things in the NBA. That, along with his potential as an above-the-rim finisher and decent shot mechanics, make him a very intriguing prospect in the NBA. However, he needs to improve his overall skill level to make it at the highest level.
  • Nance is a very good athlete, and that translates to the way he plays. He gets up and down in transition, plays above the rim, and moves really well laterally for a player his size. He's also a pretty good passer for a man his size with a 20 percent assist rate this season. His jump shot has some potential as well out to about 20 feet. His height, length and reach combination is pretty strong for a power forward.
  • His body needs some work, as he needs to put on some lower body weight in order to play in the post. He's not the worst rebounder, but it's certainly not a strength yet. Generally needs to improve his skill level, such as his ball-handling and jump shot consistency. Finally, he has Crohn's Disease, which may cause him some issues in the minds of front office folks that are worried about giving him a contract.
