Marvin Bagley III, Duke
Draft Prospect Outlook:
Bagley was the best player in the ACC as a freshman, putting up a gaudy 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per contest. He's the ultimate energy guy who will do the dirty work in the post and fights for every loose ball in sight. There are questions about what position he'll play in the NBA, but he was an effective 3-point shooter at Duke which could make his transition to the league go over with ease.
• Won ACC Player of the Year and ACC Rookie of the Year and was named first-team All-American during a dominant freshman season.
• Bypassed his senior season of high school at Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon to join Duke early.
• Grandson of Jumpin' Joe Caldwell, the No. 2 overall pick in the 1964 NBA Draft and two-time NBA All-Star.
