--vs. Kentucky, March 6
G Scotty Hopson vs. G DeAndre Liggins. Hopson has been on a roll offensively and will be healthy for this game after limping through a Feb. 8 loss at Rupp Arena. Liggins is perhaps the Wildcats' best perimeter defender and will have to be ready for Hopson to be aggressive early.
F Kenny Hall had started to earn more playing time, but didn't see the court in a Feb. 26 loss to Mississippi State. The coaching staff doesn't feel that Hall possesses the side-to-side movement to play power forward, forcing him to get whatever minutes he earns as a backup to Cs John Fields and Brian Williams. Hall's a great athlete but must improve his shot.
--Senior C Brian Williams (back) missed the South Carolina game after being injured in a 70-69 home loss Feb. 26 against Mississippi State. Coach Bruce Pearl was hopeful Williams would be able to play March 6 against Kentucky.
--Sophomore F Jeronne Maymon played his most minutes in weeks due to Brian Williams' injury, logging 14 against the Gamecocks on March 3. He missed both field-goal tries, but he did grab a pair of offensive rebounds and dish out an assist.
