NEWARK, Del. (AP) Freshman Khory Spruill ran for a career-high 86 yards and his first two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and Delaware defeated Albany 22 -3 on Saturday.

Spruill covered the final 34 yards on a 10-play, 46-yard drive, scoring on a 6-yard run that made it 15-3 early in the fourth quarter. His 1-yard run capped a 6-play, 40-yard drive with 3:11 to play.

Defensivley, the Blue Hens (7-3, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association) held the Danes (3-7, 1-6) to 120 yards and forced four turnovers, including three interceptions of Will Brunson. Albany's only trip into Delaware territory produced Ethan Stark's 37-yard field goal to open the scoring late in the first quarter. The Danes had just six first downs and the Blue Hens had the ball for almost 14 more minutes.

Frank Raggo had a 29-yard field goal on the final play of the first half to tie the game. He added a 36-yarder late in the third, just before the Blue Hens blocked a punt for a safety.
