After a couple of frustrating years to start his career, things seemed to be lining up perfectly for Ronald Jones to finally be a consistent contributor. And then the Jaguars waived Leonard Fournette, the Buccaneers signed him, and all of a sudden Jones' role is in doubt again. Jones figures to open the season as the starting back — Bruce Arians said as much after the acquisition of Fournette — but there aren't any guarantees beyond that. Jones could look great, remain the No. 1 back, and remain the starting Fantasy option we expected him to be; he could also get outshined by Fournette and end up a fringe-y-at-best option. Add it all up, and Jones is probably more like a mid-round pick, worth targeting in the seventh or eighth round, perhaps just a little after Fournette goes off the board.
