Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Remains on bench Sunday

Zimmerman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Royals.

Zimmerman will take a seat for the second straight contest despite going 7-for-21 with three doubles since his return from the injured list June 28. Matt Adams will start at first base to close the first half of the season Sunday.
