Angels' Ben Rowen: DFA'd by Halos

Rowen was designated for assignment by the Angels on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old surrendered six runs over his last two appearances out of the bullpen, leading to his removal from the 40-man roster. Rowen was promoted by the Angels in mid-April and had a 5.56 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over 11.1 innings.
