Parker threw two scoreless innings with three strikeouts against the Rangers on Friday en route to his sixth save of the season.
Parker allowed a couple inherited runners to score in the eighth, but he ultimately nailed down the win to put the Angels just a couple games back of the second wild card. The 32-year-old had given up runs in his last two outings and had ceded a save opportunity to Yusmeiro Petit in the second of said appearances, but Parker's been excellent throughout most of the year and still looks to be the favorite for save chances over the remaining weeks.
