Soto will be part of the Angels' 60-man roster.

Soto was extended an invite to camp this past December, and the team will give him a similar opportunity upon the season's restart. The 30-year-old isn't currently on the 40-man roster and has spent the last four seasons at the Triple-A level. Last year was one of his best for Triple-A Albuquerque, as Soto posted four-year highs in OPS (.860), RBI (50) and home runs (10). At this point, however, he's likely not much more than roster depth at middle infield.
