Adell will be part of the Angels' 60-man roster.

Adell isn't currently on the 40-man roster but was a lock to make the 60-man roster, given that there won't be a minor-league season. There were a few plate discipline issues in spring that led to manager Joe Maddon suggesting Adell might need more time in the minors, but it's tough to ignore the 21-year-old's swift advancement from High-A to Triple-A in 2019. Adell still possesses tools that could lead to the coveted speed/power combination. With a strong performance in summer camp, Adell could make the initial 30-man cut since the Angels are in win-now mode. Even if that happens, he will need to produce in order to play regularly over Brian Goodwin.
