Angels manager Joe Maddon said Trout's evaluation Monday revealed no new injury or a serious setback, but outfielder continues to heal slower than expected from a right calf strain, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Maddon's announcement is positive news for Trout, who was sent in for the evaluation after feeling something in his calf while running over the weekend. A concrete timeline for the superstar outfielder's return from the 60-day injured list hasn't yet been established, but once he resumes full baseball activities, he'll require a minor-league rehab assignment before being activated.
