Nolasco surrendered four runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts over six innings in Sunday's no-decision against the Astros.

This result exceeded expectations considering Nolasco came in with a 5.05 ERA and had failed to pitch six full innings in any of his previous four starts. Houston's top-ranked offense got to him early, scoring two runs on a first-inning Jose Altuve homer and tacking on two more in the fourth. Los Angeles' offense took Nolasco off the hook with five runs over the next two innings combined, but his team ultimately lost the game 7-5. His next start is scheduled for Saturday in Texas.
