LaMarre agreed to a one-year deal with the Angels on Monday.

LaMarre spent the majority of the 2016 season with the Red Sox at Triple-A Pawtucket and made a brief six-game appearance with their big league club. The 28-year-old is a career .267/.344/.382 hitter and has displayed speed on the basepaths. He will provide additional depth in the Angels' outfield. Gregorio Petit was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.
